We believe in being completely transparent about where your money goes.
Your ticket purchase covers the cost of running the event. This includes things like:
Camping fees paid to Gootchie Creek Escape for all attendees
Event infrastructure (stage, fencing, toilets, showers, lighting, etc.)
Essential services such as security, waste management and first aid
Signage, permits and insurances
Paying our artists and performers
These costs add up quickly, and while we do everything we can to keep ticket prices as low as possible, ticket sales are what make the event possible in the first place.
The fundraising for cancer research comes from the activities we run during the event, including:
Donation buckets
Raffles and auctions
Merchandise sales
Fundraising games and activities
All funds raised through these initiatives are donated directly to Love Your Sister.
After the event, we donate the total through our MyCause page and provide a full breakdown of where the funds came from, so our community can clearly see the impact we’ve made together.
