TICKET PURCHASE TERMS & CONDITIONS

Event: Camp for a Cure 2027

These Ticket Purchase Terms & Conditions apply to the purchase and use of tickets for Camp for a Cure 2027.

By purchasing a ticket, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Ticket Purchase Terms & Conditions.

Attendance at Camp for a Cure is also subject to the separate Camp for a Cure Event Conditions of Entry, available on the Camp for a Cure website. All attendees are expected to read and comply with those conditions before attending the event.

1. TICKETS

A valid ticket or authorised event pass is required to attend Camp for a Cure.

Tickets must be purchased through Camp for a Cure's authorised ticketing platform or otherwise issued or approved by Camp for a Cure Pty Ltd.

Camp for a Cure is not responsible for tickets purchased through unauthorised third parties and cannot guarantee the validity of such tickets.

The purchaser is responsible for ensuring the information supplied when purchasing tickets is accurate, including contact details.

The purchaser is also responsible for providing relevant event information and these conditions to all other attendees for whom they purchase tickets.

2. TICKET TYPES & ELIGIBILITY

Tickets must be used in accordance with the ticket category purchased.

Where an age-based ticket category applies, Camp for a Cure may request reasonable proof of age.

Children must attend with and remain under the responsibility of a parent, guardian or supervising adult.

Tickets or passes issued specifically to artists, sponsors, vendors, volunteers or other authorised participants may be subject to additional conditions relating to their involvement in the event.

3. TICKET PRICES & FEES

Ticket prices are displayed at the time of purchase.

Any applicable booking, processing or transaction fees charged by the ticketing provider will be disclosed during the purchase process.

Purchasers should review the total amount payable before completing their transaction.

4. WHAT YOUR TICKET PROVIDES

Your Camp for a Cure ticket provides admission to the event in accordance with the ticket type purchased and any inclusions specified at the time of purchase.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, personal expenses, food, beverages, merchandise, fundraising activities and other optional purchases are not included in the ticket price.

Camping access and the period for which camping is permitted will be determined by the ticket type purchased and the event information provided with that ticket.

5. TICKET REVENUE & FUNDRAISING

Camp for a Cure is produced and operated by Camp for a Cure Pty Ltd.

Your ticket purchase provides admission to Camp for a Cure and is not a charitable donation.

Ticket revenue contributes towards the costs of producing and operating the event, including costs such as venue and camping facilities, staging and production, artists and entertainment, amenities, security, insurance, permits, waste management, infrastructure and other event expenses.

Fundraising for Love Your Sister is conducted separately through clearly identified fundraising activities, donations, raffles, auctions, games, fundraising purchases and other authorised fundraising activities associated with the event.

Where a portion of a merchandise purchase or other transaction is being donated or raised for Love Your Sister, this will be clearly identified in connection with that purchase or activity.

Participation in fundraising activities or making additional donations is voluntary.

6. REFUNDS – CHANGE OF MIND & PERSONAL CIRCUMSTANCES

Except where required by law or expressly provided under these Terms, refunds are not provided where an attendee simply changes their mind or is unable to attend because of personal circumstances.

This may include circumstances such as:

  • illness or injury;

  • changes to personal plans;

  • work commitments;

  • transport difficulties;

  • vehicle or caravan breakdown;

  • inability to travel;

  • fuel availability or fuel prices;

  • accommodation or travel arrangements;

  • failure to arrive at the event;

  • adverse weather affecting an attendee's journey where the event itself is proceeding; or

  • choosing not to attend an event that is otherwise proceeding as advertised.

Camp for a Cure may consider exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis at its discretion. This does not create an entitlement to a refund in other circumstances.

Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.

7. EVENT CANCELLATION, SIGNIFICANT CHANGES & REFUNDS

If Camp for a Cure is cancelled by the Event Organiser and cannot proceed, ticket holders will be provided with the remedy required under applicable law.

Where Camp for a Cure is significantly changed, relocated, postponed or cannot be delivered safely, any refund, credit, transfer or other remedy will be determined having regard to the circumstances, these Terms and the attendee's rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Camp for a Cure may make reasonable changes to the event that do not fundamentally alter the nature of the event. These may include changes to:

  • individual artists or performers;

  • performance times;

  • activity schedules;

  • vendors;

  • event layouts;

  • camping arrangements;

  • access routes;

  • facilities;

  • individual activities; or

  • operating arrangements.

A change to one individual performer, activity, vendor, schedule or other component of a multi-day festival does not automatically entitle a ticket holder to a refund. Any entitlement will depend on the nature and significance of the change and applicable consumer law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. WEATHER & CONDITIONS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL

Camp for a Cure is an outdoor camping and music event.

Attendees should expect and prepare for changing weather and ground conditions, including rain, heat, cold, wind and mud.

Where it is safe and lawful to do so, the event may continue in adverse weather conditions.

Camp for a Cure may change activities, schedules, camping arrangements, access routes or areas of the event where reasonably necessary due to weather, safety considerations or circumstances outside the Event Organiser's reasonable control.

Where an event cannot proceed because of government direction, emergency conditions, natural disaster, severe weather or another circumstance outside Camp for a Cure's reasonable control, any refund, credit, postponement or other remedy will be determined in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.

9. PROGRAM, ARTISTS & ACTIVITIES

Artists, performers, activities, schedules, vendors and other advertised elements of Camp for a Cure may be subject to change.

Camp for a Cure will take reasonable steps to deliver the event substantially as advertised but cannot guarantee the appearance or availability of every individual artist, performer, vendor or activity.

Where a material change is made to the event, attendees retain any rights available to them under Australian Consumer Law.

10. TICKET TRANSFERS & RESALE

Tickets may only be transferred or resold in accordance with the rules of the authorised ticketing platform and applicable law.

Tickets must not be resold in a manner that breaches applicable ticket resale laws.

Tickets must not be used for unauthorised promotions, competitions, giveaways, commercial packages or other commercial purposes without prior written permission from Camp for a Cure Pty Ltd.

Camp for a Cure may refuse or cancel a ticket that has been obtained fraudulently or through an unauthorised sales process, subject to applicable law.

11. ACCESSIBILITY

Camp for a Cure provides a designated accessible camping area for attendees with genuine accessibility requirements.

This area is located closer to the main event precinct and includes access to an accessible toilet.

Attendees requiring accessible camping or mobility arrangements should identify their requirements during the ticket purchase process where that option is provided, or contact Camp for a Cure before the event.

Where applicable, attendees may be asked to provide or display an appropriate recognised disability parking or accessibility permit.

Accessibility arrangements are provided to assist attendees with genuine accessibility needs and are not intended to provide preferential camping locations or general vehicle access.

Camp for a Cure accepts Companion Cards in accordance with the arrangements specified during the ticket purchase process.

Where possible, attendees with specific accessibility requirements are encouraged to contact Camp for a Cure before purchasing or attending so that available arrangements can be discussed.

12. EVENT CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

Purchasing a ticket does not override the Event Conditions of Entry.

All attendees are required to comply with the Camp for a Cure Event Conditions of Entry, which are published on the Camp for a Cure website and may also be provided with ticket confirmation and pre-event information.

These conditions contain important information regarding matters including:

  • camping;

  • vehicle movement;

  • alcohol and glass;

  • fires;

  • generators;

  • dogs;

  • children and supervision;

  • accessibility;

  • prohibited items;

  • behaviour;

  • safety and emergencies;

  • rural property hazards, uneven terrain and wildlife;

  • weather;

  • photography and filming; and

  • directions from event staff.

Attendees should read the Event Conditions of Entry before arriving at Camp for a Cure.

13. REFUSAL OF ENTRY & REMOVAL

Camp for a Cure may refuse entry or require an attendee to leave the event where reasonably necessary for safety, security, compliance with the Event Conditions of Entry or the proper operation of the event.

This may include circumstances where an attendee:

  • does not hold a valid ticket or authorised pass;

  • seriously or repeatedly breaches the Event Conditions of Entry;

  • refuses to comply with a reasonable safety or operational direction;

  • engages in unlawful, dangerous, aggressive or seriously disruptive behaviour; or

  • creates a significant risk to themselves or others.

An attendee who is refused entry or removed because of their own conduct will not automatically be entitled to a refund.

Nothing in this section affects any rights available under Australian Consumer Law.

14. PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO & MEDIA

Camp for a Cure is photographed and filmed throughout the event.

By attending, attendees acknowledge that they may appear incidentally in photographs, video or audio captured in public areas of the event.

This material may be used by Camp for a Cure for event coverage, promotion, social media, marketing and future event communications.

Where practical, attendees with concerns regarding photography or filming should speak with Camp for a Cure staff.

15. PERSONAL PROPERTY & ATTENDEE RESPONSIBILITY

Attendees are responsible for their own vehicles, caravans, camping equipment, valuables and personal belongings.

Camp for a Cure is held on a rural outdoor property and attendees are responsible for taking reasonable care for their own safety and the safety of children and animals under their supervision.

To the extent permitted by law, Camp for a Cure is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal property except where caused by Camp for a Cure's negligence or where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, statutory right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

16. THIRD-PARTY PRODUCTS & SERVICES

Independent vendors, food providers, stallholders and other third parties may operate at Camp for a Cure.

Purchases made directly from an independent third party may create a separate transaction between the attendee and that provider.

Nothing in this section limits any responsibility Camp for a Cure may have under applicable law.

17. PRIVACY & COMMUNICATIONS

Personal information collected during the ticket purchase process will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy requirements and the privacy practices of Camp for a Cure and its authorised ticketing provider.

Purchaser contact details may be used to provide information reasonably necessary in connection with the ticket and event, including:

  • ticket confirmation;

  • arrival and check-in information;

  • event updates;

  • safety information;

  • significant event changes;

  • accessibility information; and

  • other important communications relating to attendance.

Purchasers are responsible for providing accurate contact information and for ensuring that important event information is communicated to other people attending under their booking.

18. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

The Ticket Purchase Terms & Conditions applicable to a ticket are those presented or made available in connection with the ticket purchase.

Camp for a Cure may update information or operational requirements where reasonably necessary for legal, safety or event management reasons.

Any changes will not remove or restrict rights that attendees have under Australian Consumer Law.

The current Event Conditions of Entry and current operational information will be made available through the Camp for a Cure website.

19. AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

Nothing in these Ticket Purchase Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any guarantee, right or remedy available to a consumer under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), including the Australian Consumer Law, or any other right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

If any provision of these Terms is inconsistent with a mandatory legal right, that legal right will prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.

20. GOVERNING LAW

These Ticket Purchase Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in Queensland, Australia.

21. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By completing a ticket purchase, the purchaser confirms that they:

  • have read and accepted these Ticket Purchase Terms & Conditions;

  • understand that their ticket provides admission to Camp for a Cure and is not a charitable donation;

  • understand that fundraising for Love Your Sister is conducted separately through identified fundraising activities and purchases;

  • acknowledge that attendance is also subject to the separate Camp for a Cure Event Conditions of Entry; and

  • agree to provide relevant event information and conditions to any other attendees for whom they purchase tickets.
