HOW IT WORKS

2. Complete the online Volunteer registration form and select your preferred roles and availabilities
Make sure you meet the shift requirements and take note that some shifts take place during the concert times, when it will not be possible to view the music, keep this in mind when selecting a volunteer position.
3. Once you have submitted your application, we will be in touch with you to discuss your application and let you know if you're accepted. We receive a lot of applications, so please be patient and we'll get in touch as soon as we can.
OTHER IMPORTANT POINTS
Please complete ONLY ONE application form per person.
Due to the remote nature of the event we only accept volunteers that are age 18 and over.
Volunteering at CFAC often requires you to work in the sun, heat or wind and around crowds and noise for many hours at a time. For these reasons you may find volunteering to be more tiring than you expect, so choose your role carefully and keep your abilities in mind. It is up to you to apply for something that is appropriate for you.
For most shifts children will not be able to tag along with you so please keep this in mind and select shifts that enable you to coordinate child-minding with a partner, relative or friend.
If you are planning to bring a dog , please note that Dogs cannot accompany volunteers on their shifts. Dogs must be looked after by a responsible person(s) during those times. Volunteers bringing dogs to the event, please ensure you read and follow the Dog Attendance Rules.
If you are interested in volunteering for Camp for a Cure 2026, please complete the Volunteer Application Form.
Volunteer Testimonials
‘My husband and I have been volunteers over the past 2 years for Camp for a Cure and it has been the best experience ever, to be a part of something so special from the beginning, meeting other volunteers and made feel so welcome. We are counting down the days for 2026!’ - Rick and Sue
‘Volunteering at Camp for a Cure has been such an awesome experience! My Husband and I have been to the last 2 events and had the best time. We jumped in to volunteer in 2025 and absolutely loved being a part of it - we’re already counting don to the next one! We’ve made some amazing friends and always look forward to catching up with everyone each year. The music, the location, the activities - it’s all a blast. But the best part? The energy, the kindness, the generosity and the way everyone comes together for a great cause. After going through breast cancer myself at the end of 2022, being able to give back in this way really means a lot to me.’ - Ange
‘Volunteering at CFAC was such a rewarding experience. Helping set up and seeing everyone come together to raise money for cancer research made every moment worthwhile. It was amazing to be part of something that brings hope and makes a real difference. Can’t wait for many more!’ - Jason
